The lower floors, which house teaching and practice rooms, are now in on the level below the Home Ground. The music department has been overseeing the requirements for these (including the purchase of new instruments to go in them) and the teachers of individual instruments are looking forward to seeing these rooms in usage by spring 2015.

The roof steels which lend such stunning shape to the build are being filled in, as are the exterior walls and over the summer the building will progress apace. The Recital Hall, which will seat 150 on bench style seating, the jewel in the crown of the build, will also feature a striking ceramic tiled roof. Spectacular visually from the outside and aurally spectacular from the inside, the Recital Hall will give Brighton College a space for pupils to inspire and be inspired, helping music to soar at the College.

Thank you to everyone who has helped this vision to become a reality.

Fundraising continues with seats available to name in the Recital Hall for £1,000 (or £800 plus Gift Aid). Many parent are choosing to name seats for their children to remember their time here, or indeed to celebrate the years to come. Simply download a form from the website for full payment and naming details.

Other naming opportunities are also available. Please contact the College's Development team on 01273 704 226 or development@brightoncollege.net. They will be delighted to hear from you!
