In total, grades were as follows (2014 results in brackets):

  • A* 991 (811)
  • A 695 (792)
  • B 139 (208)
  • C 4 (13)
  • D 0 (1)
  • E 0 (0)

112 pupils achieved A*/A in every subject, with 32 securing an incredible 10 A*s each. 20 achieved 11*s and 5 gained 12 A*s.

The A*/A percentage stands at 92.2% compared to 87.9% at this point last year.

On a separate note, the first A-Level league tables appear in the Daily Telegraph this Saturday. I hope very much that we will be in the UK Top 10 for the first time ever. It would certainly help the Admissions team!

Of course, what really matters is the atmosphere of the school. No child excels unless he or she is happy in his or her own skin. That ethos of kindness coupled with almost uniformly inspirational teaching has proved to be a magic formula. You can be very proud of your old school!
