First, is a group show of sculpture in the LA Arboretum on Baldwin Avenue. Its a group of 80+ sculptors in a show entitled The Nature of Sculpture. The opening is between 4pm and 7pm that day. My piece is a 50ft tall Bamboo sculpture built in place from bamboo donated by the Arboretum.
Second, is a one-man show of my new large paintings at Tim Yalda's Curve Line Gallery at 1577 Colorado Blvd in Eagle Roc. That opening is from 7pm to 11pm.
The two shows are about 20 minutes apart. You are most welcome to visit both. The Arboretum show requires a general admission ticket of $25, the Curve Line space show is free.
