Having been raised with dual citizenship in the UK and Ireland, as well as currently living, studying, and working in the U.S., I am a huge advocate for communicating with global audiences to bring authentic stories to the forefront of international media.
I attended both Brighton College Prep and Senior school, before graduating from the University of Manchester in 2019 with a BA (Hons) in American Studies. Following this, I was able to get first-hand experience in a communications role as the Content & Events Intern in the OB Office. From opening the School of Sports and Science in my first week on the job, to reuniting long-lost school friends, I really came to appreciate the genuine impact that networking has. Moving to Boston in 2020 to pursue my MA in Public Relations at Emerson College was a stark reminder of this, navigating a perpetual game of “you say tomato, I say tomahto” behind masks, amidst virtual and in-person classes.
During my time at Emerson College, I have created PR strategies and developed corporate communication frameworks for a diverse range of clients, from animation studios to professional U.S. sports teams. I also currently work as a Communications Assistant for SNAAP (Strategic National Arts Alumni Project), a national survey highlighting the value of an arts-based education, whilst supporting current and future creatives. Following my graduation in May 2022, I hope to create an immersive, adventurous, and collaborative space for women in PR across the global entertainment industry.
