General Election 2010: Jason Sugarman (R. 1982-87) is the Lewes parliamentary candidate for the Conservatives

He is married to Kate and has two young daughters.
Jason's served on Lewes District Council representing Wivelsfield for eight years during which time he campaigned vigorously and successfully on behalf of residents. He spends a great deal of time in Seaford and since his adoption as parliamentary candidate has met literally thousands of people who live in the area.

Jason said, "It is my very great desire to provide the residents of Seaford and the Lewes constituency, with effective, honest representation at Westminster, and I sincerely hope to achieve success at the election in order to do that."

Jason's first priorities in parliament would be to work towards gaining Enterprise Zone Trust status for Newhaven, improvements to the A27 around Selmeston and particularly to help Seaford residents who have just had a 33 per cent increase in council tax against national rises of 2.8 per cent.
