- A*/A 82.7% (74.15% in 2014)
- A*/B 98.1% (94.0% in 2014)
- A*/C 100% (98.9% in 2014)
To give you some indication of how well the Upper Sixth has done, the A* - B percentage places Brighton ahead of where Westminster, Eton and Winchester were last year.
As ever, this reflects brilliantly on the commitment and hard work of our pupils, the inspirational teaching of our Common Room and the huge efforts made by all members of the senior management in helping to identify and support those individuals who, in other schools, might have fallen by the wayside. It also reflects the tremendous dedication of parents. All those years of chivvying sons and daughters to do their homework or a little revision have paid off handsomely.
In total, the following grades were awarded:
- 207 A*
- 273 A
- 89 B
- 11 C
- 0 D
- 0 E
I hope that all Old Brightonians can take pride in the successes of our latest leavers. And always remember that the boys and girls do well here primarily because they are happy. It underpins everything that we do – as I hope it did in your day.
