Established through the generosity of Edward P. Bass, this fellowship enables the School to invite distinguished private and public sector leaders in the development community to participate as integral teaching members in advanced studios and seminars. John joins a distinguished list of developers to have been similarly honoured that includes Gerald Hines, Stuart Lipton, Roger Madelin, Nick Johnson, Charles L. Atwood, Katherine Farley, Vincent Lo and Isaac Kalisvaart.
John has been invited to deliver the exceptionally important opening lecture of the School year, as a part of the School's public lecture series.
"It is a tremendous honour to be the Edward P. Bass Distinguished Visiting Architecture Fellow at Yale University," said John. "To excel in a given field, you have to love what you do. I look forward to sharing my passion for seeking, recognising and realizing opportunities in some of the most diverse global environments with the students."
