Since leaving Brighton College, Emma has started a Management degree at the University of Bristol and Kate has graduated from the University of Exeter with a first in Applied Psychology. Kate is now working as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in the NHS and, as part of her job, she helps people with mental health difficulties so is exposed to the effects that depression, anxiety and other mental health difficulties can cause on a daily basis. With the NHS struggling to treat the rising number of sufferers, the work of charities such as Headlight are essential to offer additional support and treatment. They have set up a Just Giving page for anyone who would like to support their Skydive and would be very grateful for any donations!
On 17th March, Kate and Emma Appleby will be completing a Skydive in aid of Headlight, a mental health charity.
