Penny Plane (née Tettmar) (F. 1978-80) is taking a career break from accountancy to bring up  Emily (4) and Charlie (2), plus sheep, chickens, geese and dog!

Chris Ketley (D. 1974-79) is a partner at Knill James Chartered Accountants in Lewes and would welcome calls from OBs in business. He can be contacted on 01273 480480.

T.F. Winterton (W. 1923-28) reports that he is in good health having reached the grand age of 90 years.

Matthew Cordingly (A. 1987-92) has survived his first year as a doctor. He is now on a medical rotation at Guy's and St. Thomas' hospitals. He would be very keen to hear from old friends. He can be contacted on

John Want (H. 1987-92) John has been promoted to Marketing Manager at Grosvenor Casinos.

Peter Chatfield (A/C. 1953-58) is now studying with the St Giles International Organ School at St Giles, Cripplegate in the Barbican. He can thoroughly recommend it to old OB organists.

Paul Richards (A. 1980-84) married Yael Cohen in Jersusalem in 1994. Their son, Guy, was born in 1997. Paul works for Fidelio computer systems company installing and training staff on hotel front office computer systems. Paul can be contacted at work via email on prichards@micros.com

David Richards (A. 1983-85) has recently finished a business course at Oxford Brookes University having worked in insurance in Brighton for 6 years. He is currently looking for work in investment banking. David can be contacted via email on david@richards7024.freeserve.co.uk

Bob Lassam (D. 1955-59) took early retirement from the Civil Service in 1995. He has been choral singing regularly since leaving school as well as taking on occasional light opera roles. He has also been active in church life in south east London for many years as churchwarden, chorister and in various diocesan and deanery posts.

John Bridger (A. 1966-71) took voluntary redundancy from Barclays Bank in 1996. Having obtained certification for Novell and Microsoft networking product, he is currently employed at the University of Brighton and studying for Cisco networking certification to help in his search for a new job. He remarried 10 years ago (his brother-in-law is Mervyn Davies, A. 1966-71) and he and his wife are hoping to adopt two children in the near future. Piers Bonnett (A. 1986-92) is currently working as a Senior Financial Adviser for Royal & SunAlliance following Financial Futures Trading on the LIFFE floor.

Jeremy Bamford (S.1987-92) is working as an accountant in Atlanta, USA.

Amanda Evans (née Bridgen) (F. 1975-77) has moved back to California after 2 years in New York. She is enjoying life and would be happy to meet up with old friends.

Gerard Pearlberg (S. 1976-80) moved to Santa Cruz in 1988. He married Kathy in April and they are expecting their first child in January 2000. Gerard is a certified USA Track & Field Coach and he and his wife own an athletic & conditioning company called 'Great Performance'. He is a professional runner with Mizuno USA and is currently the Nike World Masters Champion at the 1500 metre distance in the 35-39 year age group and the 1998 Road Runners Club of America National Marathon Championship Bronze Medallist. Miles East (C. 1979-84) is living in the USA and is employed as a pilot for the aircraft manufacturer, Textron, who own Cessna & Bell. He is currently flying all the company airplanes and helicopters.He would be pleased to hear from old friends and can be contacted by email: m-ceast@mediaone.net

Mike Banner (A. 1972-77) has started a term as Treasurer for a large church in Bath and is still working doing IT work with Nat West in Bristol.

Paul Clarke (R. 1989-94) has graduated from Maine Maritime Academy with a Bachelors of Science in Nautical Science & a 3rd Mates Unlimited Tonnage Merchant Mariners Licence. He also received the distinguished Midshipman Graduate Award from the US Secretary of the Navy. He is commissioned in the US Navy and has attended Surface Warfare Officer School & Damage Control Officer School completing both as a distinguished graduate. He has been assigned to the USS O'Brien, stationed in Yokusha, Japa

Jonathan Beynon (D. 1978-83) is currently back in the UK having spent much of the last 10 years in various parts of Southern Africa. He now works as an Economist for the Department for International Development, lives near Oxford, and is married with two boys, aged 5 & 7.

Jonathan Elford (H. 1995-97) represented Keble College, Oxford in University Challenge on 21 February.

Clare Cottle (W. 1992-97) has been awarded her Blue; she was selected for the Oxford University Women's Rugby XV v Cambridge which was played on 12 March.
