The OBRFC were re-formed in 1959 by the late Peter Rumney (Ha. 1937-39) after disbanding at the beginning of World War II. For many years the OBRFC competed in the Sussex and London leagues, but more recently have focused on more social rugby as well as 7's and 10's competitions.
For those that don't know Peter he dedicated a lot of his life to rugby in general and the OB's in particular. Unfortunately Peter passed away in October 2007 and this game is to celebrate his life in OB rugby and also a great chance to play alongside old team mates who you may have not seen in a few years. Those that played and supported in the last few years will testify to a great game and an even greater evening that followed.
OB Rugby Shirts will be provided but please come with other kit!
If you are interested in playing please contact Dan Heal (Ry. 1990-95) on rugby@oldbrightonians.com.
