They set themselves the target of summiting the highest peaks in Ireland, N. Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales in 48 hours. In spite of treacherous conditions they completed the challenge with 30 minutes to spare. Visibility was 5ms on the majority of the peaks, there was a heavy icy snowfall under foot, the temperature was as low as -15 and wind speeds reached up to 60mph! Here's a summary of their efforts.

The group are raising money for The Mlambe Project, a charity set up and run by Old Brightonians which aims to create schools in Malawi using pioneering building techniques.

Although they have now hit their target of raising £5,000, further donations would be gratefully received. Having built two school blocks at Mlambe they now have finance for a third on the back of the money raised from the 5 peaks. Further donations would go a long way to building the fourth and final school block which will take the schools capacity up to 480 pupils.
