David Gold speaking to the 2007 leavers

No fewer than fifty-five pupils secured AAA, including sixteen with four As and three with five. In addition, Alex Sobolev amassed a staggering seven A grades whilst also achieving highly in his Grade 8 Organ exam.

Head Boy, Toby Brown, gained five A grades plus two top results in Step Maths papers. Charlotte Hogg gained four A grades in four different languages (she heads off now to Cambridge), whilst Kathryn Hopwood and Chris Waite gained straight A grades to secure their Choral Scholarships to Oxford University.

All sixteen boys and girls who won Oxbridge places, another record for Brighton College, have secured the grades they required.

I am sure that each and every Old Brightonian will join me in congratulating these young men and women and wish them every success in the next stage of their lives, whether university, gap year or something else. If anyone needs help or advice on securing a work placement or would like to be put in touch with an OB currently at a preferred university or perhaps a contact in a country they are planning to visit, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Email us directly and we'll do what we can.

Well done Class of 2007 - your place in history has already been secured!
David Gold (S. 1986-91)
