One of the finest cricketers of his generation Richard has been a great supporter of the Old Brightonians – helping to set up the USA OB network, and lending considerable energy and support in its early days. Richard often visited the UK from his home in the USA and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial was held on Saturday 11th April 2015, led by Father Robert Easton and we were delighted that many of Richard's family were able to join us from the USA as well as several Old Brightonians who were at the College with Richard.
The day turned out to be a lovely occasion with many happy memories of Richard shared between family and friends. We also collated memories of Richard for the Service Memorial sheet which we will make available online shortly.
