Get Set Galactic sees two teams of young scientists visit S.T.A.R.S (Space Technology & Research Station) to take on a meteoric mission of challenges and win prizes. They are guided on their way by a team of three science presenters, including Sam. This immersive, physical gameshow explores science themes from gravity and the Solar System to pollination and energy.
Following his time at Brighton College, Sam graduated from Imperial College London with a first-class degree in Biological Sciences before moving to the University of Cambridge where he studied the evolution of fish skulls. He is currently researching new treatments for cancer with the use of machine learning and AI. As well as inspiring children about science, he teaches adults about machine learning and speaks widely at venues and science festivals.
