As part of her work for the Born Free Foundation, she has recently launched a new podcast, “The Born Free Podcast”. There are episodes across a range of topics, including trophy hunting, captive lion rescue and relocation and the conservation of the African elephant population.

Sarah loves her work at the Born Free Foundation and says that she hopes the podcast inspires people to get into wildlife conservation, and shows that the industry needs people from a host of different careers: biologists, researchers, tech entrepreneurs, politicians, as well as businessmen and women.

Sarah is also organising a nine-day fundraising climb of Mount Kenya, the second-highest mountain in Africa, in October 2020: are you up for the challenge? The group will be visiting local conservation and community projects afterwards and are trekking through elephant country until the summit of 4,985m. If you would like to get involved, please get in touch with the OB office and we will pass your details on to Sarah.
