Semi-Toned was set up by Old Brightonian Eddie Henley (Ha. 2005-10) in October 2010 originally as a barbershop quintet, before establishing themselves as a twelve-man contemporary group with a wide range of repertoire. Today, Semi-Toned is the University of Exeter’s all male a cappella sensation, having won national and international awards for their stunning performances and music videos, as well as appearances on national television and critically acclaimed shows across the USA, not to mention selling out their last two runs at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Since its inception, Semi-Toned has quickly become one of the leading forces in UK a cappella, and they are now ready to embark on their fourth consecutive tour to where it all began: HOMECOMING. We are thrilled to hear that recent leaver, Old Brightonian Jacob Westbrook (BCPS/Ha. 2009-2017) has joined the group and will be returning to perform at his old school.
