Brighton College also won the Royal Institute's South East Client of the Year Award, for its 'determination to attract the best architects in England to the campus and for the scope and ambition of its vision.'

The Skidelsky Building, designed by architects Kirkland Fraser Moor, opened in 2010 and home to the Lower School and Design Technology suite, was praised by RIBA for the high standard of its build and its 'refreshing simplicity of detail'. Meanwhile, the Simon Smith Building (by Allies and Morrison) was described as 'elegantly proportioned' and the Institute praised ' the commendable "rightness" about the building in its setting'.

The College's development programme continues apace, with the Diamond Jubilee Pavilion opening in July and works on both a new boarding house and Music School due to begin in the next few months.
