Brighton College would not exist without the generosity and vision of its founders and benefactors. Ever since the school’s foundation in 1845, philanthropy has always been at the very core of the school’s existence.
Donations help us realise our ambitious vision for the campus, provide scholarships and bursaries to less privileged children, and maintain our international reputation as an exceptional school.
By making a gift to Brighton College, you are helping us to provide a forward-thinking and first-class education to boys and girls, regardless of their family’s financial means, in an inspiring environment that focuses on kindness and a love of learning.
Already, OBs from across the US have come forward to make donations and pledge their support of the College. We would be immensely grateful if you too would consider making a gift to your school.
We currently have four fundraising priorities:
1. London Academy of Excellence
$4,000 would cover the funding gap for a 16 year-old to receive a free, life-changing education at the London Academy of Excellence. You can read more about the LAE here.
2. Auschwitz-Birkenau Trip
$12,000 would pay for 30 pupils in the Lower Sixth Form to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau to learn important lessons about respect and tolerance.
3. Sixth Form Bursaries
$35,000 would provide a 110% Sixth Form bursary for one year to a local boy or girl to attend Brighton College, who would otherwise not have the financial means to attend the school.
4. School of Science and Sport
$66,000 would sponsor and name a Science Laboratory in the new School of Science and Sport, which will transform school-life for generations of pupils and help us to attract and retain world-class teachers.
