News article from the Midsussex Times, 24 July 2014

I still have around 70 collecting tins within about 10 miles from home in Steyning and that will continue for another year or two.

From the 1st January 2015 I will additionally be helping the West Sussex Hospice’s so will still be keeping busy.

I have one last request. As you can see from our website www.bmycharity.com/davidsparajump my helpers and I have managed to collect for our wounded an extra £16,000 over our original target of £125,000.

I am not asking you for any more direct financial help as most of you have already supported this charity very generously, either by donations or helping me at various venue's ( or both !), but finally wish to ask you to please forward this email, with comments if you so wish, to all on your email address lists as I have now done to you.

Who knows, with this final help, we together may reach £150,000 for our wounded.

I DO HOPE SO.

Again I thank you all so much for everything over the past five years."
